Lenovo to launch the Yoga Tab 13 with Snapdragon 855 processor
Information obtained from several sources suggests that Lenovo will soon announce a tablet computer with Qualcomm hardware platform and Android 11 operating system.
The device is codenamed K606F. It is expected to debut in the commercial market under the name Yoga Tab 13.
Information about the new product, in particular, appeared in the Google Play Console database. This is a 13-inch 2K display with a resolution of 2160 × 1350 pixels. The parameters of the cameras have not yet been specified.
At the heart of the tablet is the Snapdragon 855 mobile processor used in the 2019 flagship smartphones. The chip contains eight Kryo 485 cores clocked at 1.80 GHz to 2.84 GHz and an Adreno 640 graphics accelerator.
It is said about the presence of 8 GB of RAM. Obviously, the new product will be offered in a version with support for 4G / LTE cellular networks and possibly 5G.
Canalys estimates that 160.6 million tablets were shipped globally in 2020. Amid the pandemic, the supply of such gadgets increased by 28% compared to 2019. Lenovo was ranked fifth among the leading global market players with a share of approximately 9%.
