Lenovo unveils Legion Phone Duel 2, a € 799 gaming smartphone to be used in landscape orientation
Lenovo today officially unveiled a new generation gaming smartphone: in the European market, it will be offered under the name Legion Phone Duel 2, in Chinese – Legion Phone Pro 2.
The device has received several unique features. It is equipped with a huge 6.92-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2460 × 1080 pixels (Full HD + format). This panel has a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and the response rate of the touch layer reaches 720 Hz. Claimed 111.1 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space; contrast ratio – 1,000,000: 1. HDR10 + support is mentioned.

The smartphone is equipped with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with an integrated 5G modem. The main electronic components are concentrated in the central part of the device, which has a thickening. A highly efficient active cooling system with two turbofans, one visible at the rear, is used.
The amount of LPDDR5 RAM can be 12, 16, and even 18 GB. The fast UFS 3.1 flash drive has a capacity of 256GB or 512GB.
Additional controls in games are provided: there are four ultrasonic buttons on one of the side faces and two sensory capacitive pads at the back.
A two-component rechargeable battery with a total capacity of 5500 mAh is responsible for the power supply; fast 90-watt charging is supported. Dimensions are 176 × 78.5 × 9.9-12.56 mm, weight – 259 g.
The operating system Android 11 is installed with a proprietary add-on Lenovo ZUI 12.5. The price of the new items is 799 euros.
