LG Gram 16 laptop with Intel Tiger Lake chip weighs about 1.2 kg
In January of the coming year, LG will begin selling the thin and light notebook computer Gram 16, equipped with a 16-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10.
The basis of the laptop is the Intel Tiger Lake hardware platform. Buyers will be able to choose between modifications with a Core i5-1135G7 and Core i7-1165G7 processor. The volume of LPDDR4x-4266 RAM is 8 or 16 GB, and the capacity of the PCIe NVMe solid-state drive can be up to 1 TB.
Thanks to the narrow bezels around the display, the novelty outperforms the classic 15.6-inch models in overall dimensions. The integrated Intel Iris Xe accelerator is busy with graphics processing. An HDMI interface is provided for displaying images on an external monitor or TV.
The laptop’s arsenal includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 wireless adapters, a DTS: X audio system with 5-watt speakers, a backlit keyboard, a MicroSD slot, two Thunderbolt 4 / USB Type-C and USB 3.1 Type-A connectors.
The novelty weighs approximately 1.2 kg and measures 356 × 244 × 16.8 mm. A rechargeable battery with a capacity of 80 Wh is responsible for the power supply. The price will be revealed closer to the sales start date.
