LG Slide will be another smartphone with an unusual design

As we reported the other day, LG has filed an application to register the Rollable trademark. It is assumed that under this name a unique smartphone with a flexible screen extending from the left and right sides of the case will enter the market. This unit is shown in the renders above and below.

It has now become known that LG has sent an application to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) to register another trademark – Slide. The document states that smartphones, mobile phones, wearable telecommunications devices, and other gadgets can be produced under this name.

It can be assumed that the LG Slide will be equipped with a kind of sliding element. Perhaps the company is designing another smartphone with a display that rolls up inside the case.

We add that LG is rumored to present its first smartphone with a folding screen in March next year.
