The manufacturer has made a number of changes to the new ultrabook models. First, the compact systems have new displays with a 16:10 aspect ratio and thin bezels. Only last year’s 17-inch model Gram 17 could boast of such a feature. LG also indicates that the new displays have support for 99% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. The resolution of IPS panels in 16- and 17-inch models are 2560 × 1600 pixels, while the 14-inch and hybrid 2-in-1 models received screens with WUXGA resolution (1920 × 1200 pixels). Another feature of the updated LG Gram 2021 ultrabooks is the new Intel Tiger Lake processors. These chips are based on the 10nm process technology and are equipped with a more powerful graphics subsystem Iris X e. The use of new processors also added the ability to equip new items with high-speed Thunderbolt 4 interfaces and faster LPDDR4x RAM up to 16 GB.

The equipment of the updated LG Gram ultrabooks includes up to two USB 4.0 Gen3 (Thunderbolt 4), up to two USB 3.2 Gen2, one HDMI, a slot with support for microSD and UFS memory cards, as well as a combined audio output. All new items, according to the manufacturer, have received Intel Evo certificates of conformity.
