Li Auto continues to reveal details about its first minivan called Mega. This time the company paid attention to a traction battery with ultra-fast charging.

Li Auto Mega received a CATL Kirin 5C solid-state battery, which is designed for an input power of more than 520 kW and a peak charging current of 700A. “ We provide the world’s fastest charging speed for electric vehicles – charging for 12 minutes allows you to replenish the energy reserve for 500 kilometers ,” Li Auto explained in the teaser image.

In October of this year, Li Auto published a video that demonstrated ultra-fast charging speed: in 11 minutes and 2 seconds, the minivan was charged from 6 to 80 percent (77.3 kWh).
