Life is Strange developer plans to release five games from 2022 to 2025

French studio Dontnod Entertainment, known for the Life is Strange series and RPG Vampyr, has released its financial statement for 2020. In it, she talked a little about her plans for the future. Apparently, the team is preparing to publish games on its own more often.

According to the released document, in the period from 2022 to 2025, Dontnod Entertainment will release five games at once. And all of them will be promoted exclusively by the French studio. This list does not include an unannounced project that the company creates in collaboration with Focus Home Interactive ( announced in April 2019). It turns out that in three years, Dontnod wants to develop six games at once and publish five of them independently. This is a very ambitious goal in a pandemic when the release dates of many projects are shifted.

Also, the French studio is pleased with the Tell Me Why adventure series’s performance and its partnership with Microsoft. As a reminder, Dontnod Entertainment’s latest game, the detective adventure Twin Mirror, was critically acclaimed. On Metacritic (PC), the game received 65 points from journalists after 49 reviews. Users put 5.6 points out of 10; 74 people voted.
