BMW Motorrad, the motorcycle brand and division of the German automobile manufacturer BMW, has unveiled the prototype M 1000 XR motorcycle.
It is billed as “a long-distance sports bike with a long range and super-sport dynamics”. The bike was designed to ride well on country roads as well as on the track.
The company hasn’t revealed much about the prototype, but it has a short windshield and swept-back headlights with integrated daytime running lights. The manufacturer stated that the seat position provides better control of the bike, especially in supersport mode. Closer inspection also reveals carbon fiber components and XR decals.
