Logitech has unveiled the Circle View Doorbell, which it claims is the first wired video intercom designed specifically for Apple HomeKit. The Circle View Doorbell allegedly delivers clear portrait video from less than a meter away, supports face detection, HDR for handling high-contrast scenes, and color night vision up to two meters away. The device is compatible with most existing wired doorbell systems and supports automation for configuring video recording, notification, storage, and sharing settings.
Logitech Circle View Doorbell Wired Video Intercom Designed Exclusively for Apple HomeKit
HomeKit Secure Video, a powerful and secure smart home platform available on more than a billion active iOS and iPadOS devices, intelligently detects objects in the field of view. Hence, you know when a person, animal, or vehicle is approaching a call. The user can access the Circle View Doorbell in the Home app or by calling Siri on compatible Apple devices.
Face recognition identifies people that the user has tagged in their photo library or recent visitors captured by a camera or doorbell in the Home app. When people come to the door, you can receive notifications on Apple devices even when you are away from home. Video streams created by HomeKit Secure Video are uploaded to iCloud and encrypted. They don’t count towards free iCloud storage for custom photos, videos, and other files.
The Logitech Circle View Doorbell is already on sale for $ 200.
