Lost items will be returned to Outriders players of the same quality or better

On Reddit, People Can Fly revealed that disappeared items will return with the same attribute combinations and God Roll values. This means that the equipment will be at least of the same quality, and in some cases, even better than the originally lost items.
It takes so long to fix the situation because the players are divided into three groups. The first is those who have heroes with a broken inventory. The second is for those whose inventory is not broken but still lost their equipment. The third is the players whose characters are in perfect order.
