Samsung today released a major March camera and gallery update for its flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones.

This update adds features to improve the usability of the gallery, and changes how autofocus works for faster photo capture.

In addition, we have improved the camera function and image quality based on feedback from smartphone owners. Thanks for the many suggestions.

A function has been added to the gallery that allows you to delete photos that are being processed immediately after they are taken. For faster photography, autofocus behavior has been changed so that when the user presses the capture button, a photo is taken even if the focus on the screen is not fully set. This option (focus priority or speed priority) can be changed in the Camera Assistant settings.
