Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has a new graphics mode: 60fps with ray tracing

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games have released an update (version 1.007.001) to the action-adventure Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PlayStation 5, which adds ray-traced graphics at 60 frames per second.

The game already had two graphics modes on the PlayStation 5: quality and performance. In the latest surprise update, Insomniac Games added a third option that brought high performance while using ray tracing technology.

In the description of the model, it is indicated that for the sake of ray tracing, Insomniac Games had to cut the resolution, quality of reflections, and the density of pedestrians. Newsmen VGC Andy Robinson (Andy Robinson) published in Twitter performance comparison mode (with ray tracing) and quality.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is also available on PlayStation 4, but there is no ray tracing in this version.
