Recall that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales debuted on November 12, 2020, but until recently neither the developers nor the publishing house Sony Interactive Entertainment has shared information about the game’s sales.

As it became known, for the period from the release until the end of 2020 (that is, for 50 days), the total sales of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales amounted to approximately 4.1 million copies.

Unlike Marvel’s Spider-Man, Miles Morales hit store shelves simultaneously for two systems (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5), while the main game until November 2020 was exclusive to the last-generation Sony console.

Despite the twofold difference in the number of target platforms, Marvel’s Spider-Man sold much faster: in the first three days, the game sold 3.3 million copies, in 80 days – 9 million, and in 325 days – 13.2 million.

Recall, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales tells the story of the formation of Miles Morales, who, in the absence of his friend and mentor Peter Parker, turns out to be the only defender of New York.

In addition to the sales figures, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was inferior to the original game in terms of the average rating on the Metacritic aggregator, but not so noticeably: 84-85% versus 87%.
