Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Trailer Showcases Advanced Photo Mode Settings

Insomniac Games’ Director of Community Engagement, James Stevenson, noted that back in  Marvel’s Spider-Man  2018, photo mode was hugely popular with fans: players took a lot of pictures that impressed the developers with ingenuity and artistry. Therefore, already in the early stages of the creation of “Marvel Spider-Man: Miles Morales” the studio decided to take this mode with full responsibility. The result is a range of enhanced Photo Mode features:

For example, the developers noticed that people tried to take pictures in different parts of the city in order to achieve more interesting lighting. Then lead user interface designer Gil Doron suggested adding additional settings: now the photo mode allows you to arrange three additional light sources, as well as change the intensity of color and light, diffusion and softness.

You can also control natural lighting in your environment and even adjust the brightness and position of the sun. And you can also adjust the overall illumination of the photo. For example, to take a more dramatic shot, you can dim the ambient lighting and then install an additional light source to create contrast.

Also in the new photo mode menu, you can change the costume, enable and disable the invisibility of characters, select weather conditions, and additional parameters for the depth of field near and from afar. Finally, there are stickers and frames with Miles Morales in Photo Mode. All these innovations will appear in the updated version of Marvel’s Spider-Man.
