Marvel’s Spider-Man remaster hints at a third graphics mode – with 60 fps and ray tracing

Studio Insomniac Games in its microblog hinted that the re-release of the superhero action game Marvel’s Spider-Man may acquire a third graphics mode in addition to the two already confirmed.

As a reminder, the launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered will offer a choice between quality modes (full 4K, 30 fps, ray tracing) and performance (reduced resolution, 60 fps, no ray tracing).

The Verge senior editor Tom Warren, who published a demonstration of both modes, complained in his microblog about the inability to play simultaneously with ray tracing and at 60 frames / s.

In a conversation with a journalist about this, user byHazee suggested a solution to the problem: “It would be so cool if we got the option to play in 1080p, at 60 fps and with ray tracing, but the game looks great now!”

Insomniac Games, oddly enough, did not disregard this conversation and responded to byHazee’s call with thoughtful emoji, although it was not mentioned in any of the previous messages.

As such, confirmation of the intentions of the developers, their publication should not be taken, however, it should be noted that the mode voiced byHazee is not something supernatural: this option will appear in Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered will release on November 12, alongside the PS5 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The remaster will be available exclusively as part of the complete Miles Morales edition.
