The published image of the user interface of the smartphone Mate 40 Pro reports that the device is indeed powered by the new Kirin 9000 mobile processor.

Earlier it was said that this chip may become the latest flagship Huawei processor. Its production by the order of the Chinese manufacturer was carried out by the TSMC company. However, due to trade sanctions imposed on Huawei, the Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer had to end any business relationship with the Chinese company as early as September 15th. If this ban remains in effect, Huawei will not be able to print the Kirin 9000 chips.

The screenshot informs that the device uses a proprietary shell EMUI 11, based on the Android 10 operating system. Support for Google mobile services is not expected. Alternatively, Huawei will offer its own AppGallery app store. It should be noted that Google has already released a new version of the Android 11 operating system. However, the company opened access to it to manufacturers of mobile devices only last month. It is possible that Huawei simply did not have time to adapt the new OS for its smartphones, but will release a corresponding update in the future. The image also confirms that the screen resolution of the smartphone is 2772 × 1344 pixels, and the device itself has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of permanent memory on board.

Earlier it was also said that the Mate 40 Pro smartphone will receive a triple main camera module with a 50-megapixel sensor, which will be assisted by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and another 12-megapixel sensor. The camera will offer support for 5x optical zoom, as well as the ability to record video in 8K resolution. On the front side of the device, there is a 13-megapixel camera, complemented by a 3D sensor.

The handset also has Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6 support, is powered by a 4,400mAh battery, and charges with a 65W fast wired charger over a USB 3.1 cable in just one hour.
