The 7nm MT8192 product contains eight cores: ARM Cortex-A76 and ARM Cortex-A55 quartets with clock speed up to 2.2 and 2.0 GHz, respectively. The graphics accelerator ARM Mali-G57 MC5 is used.

The MT8192 platform will be the backbone of mass-market Chromebooks. Developers will be able to equip such devices with LPDDR4x-2133 RAM, eMMC 5.1, and UFS 2.1 flash drives, as well as displays with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 or 2560 × 1440 pixels. It talks about support for 32-megapixel cameras, wireless Wi-Fi 5 (802.11a / b / g / n / ac), as well as GPS / BeiDou / GLONASS / Galileo navigation.

The more powerful MT8195 processor, designed for premium Chromebooks, is manufactured using a 6nm process. It integrates four ARM Cortex-A78 cores and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores, as well as the ARM-Mali G57 graphics accelerator.

For this platform, the ability to simultaneously display images on three displays, support for Dolby Vision, 7.1 Surround Sound, etc. is declared.

Devices based on MT8192 will begin shipping in the second quarter of next year. Gadgets based on MT8195 will appear later, but the exact dates have not yet been announced.
