MediaTek’s new platform will be faster than Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

She will appear in IQOO Neo 8

It seems that MediaTek will be able to successfully compete even with the very successful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. As it became known, the Dimensity 9200 Plus platform is gaining more than 1.35 million points in AnTuTu 9. 

MediaTek’s new platform will be faster than Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

This SoC will be an overclocked version of the regular Dimensity 9200. At what frequencies, which components will work, it is not yet clear. Recall that the configuration of the current flagship MediaTek SoC includes a 3 GHz Cortex-X2 core, three 2.85 GHz Cortex-A710 cores, and four 1.8 GHz Cortex-A510 cores. The Immortalis-G715 accelerator acts as a GPU. All this is produced using the 4 nm process technology. 

The new platform should appear in the iQOO Neo 8 smartphone in the near future.
