Today, Meizu Technology officially announced that the company is stopping the sale of the Meizu 16s Pro smartphone, which was released in August 2019. A new smartphone called Meizu 17 should be presented on April 22 this year.

Meizu 17 is credited with a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It will be built on the basis of a single-chip system Snapdragon 865. The smartphone will support Wi-Fi 6 and will receive an NFC module that will be used for contactless payments. It is also expected to have a 64-megapixel camera, a 4,500 mAh battery and support for 30-watt charging.
The smartphone will receive up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory, such a version will cost, according to preliminary data, about 660 dollars. A version with 8/128 GB of memory will cost $ 100 less.
