Meizu Technology has announced new details about the characteristics of the flagship smartphone Meizu 17 Pro, and also posted a poster that contains the phrase “9 days before the dream,” which indicates the date of the announcement of the smartphone.

The manufacturer first demonstrated in close-up the main camera of the Meizu 17 Pro, confirming that the most advanced 3D depth sensor will be located in the center of the LED flash. Presumably, it will be used not only to miscalculate the depth of the scene and correctly blur the background in photographs but also in augmented reality applications. The manufacturer specifically noted that in the capabilities of this sensor, the smartphone will not be inferior to the latest tablet Apple iPad Pro.
According to previously published information, the smartphone is equipped with a single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 system, fast LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 flash memory. Meizu 17 supports Super Wireless mCharge, Wi-Fi 6 fast wireless charging, and is equipped with an NFC module for contactless payments. Meizu 17 is equipped with a quad-camera with a Sony IMX686 main image sensor, the resolution of which will be 64 megapixels.
The presentation of Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro is expected on May 8.
