Meizu Pop Pro wireless active noise canceling headphones will be announced on January 11

The Chinese company Meizu announced in its official account on the Weibo microblogging service the date of the event dedicated to the presentation of its first fully wireless headphones. The novelty was named Meizu Pop Pro. Based on the published teaser, the device supports Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology.

The company has not yet revealed what the new headphones look like, but thanks to the patent it has registered, you can get an idea of ​​the appearance of the device.

According to the patent certificate, the Meizu Pop Pro will come with a charging case with a USB Type-C port to replenish the capacity of the built-in battery. The front of the case also houses a battery status LED. At the moment, this is all that is known about the new device.

The Meizu Pop Pro is said to come as part of the company’s program to expand its consumer electronics portfolio, which will include wearable devices such as smartwatches and more. According to insider reports, the announcement of the smartwatch is slated for the first quarter of 2021. Unfortunately, there are no details about them yet.
