Tango Gameworks was founded by Shinji Mikami, creator of the Resident Evil franchise, and is best known for games such as the horror movie Evil Within and the upcoming Ghostwire: Tokyo. Along with seven other Bethesda Softworks studios, the company is now owned by Microsoft and incorporated into the Xbox brand.

“I’m ready to go to Tokyo, visit Tango [Gameworks] – a studio that I have a lot of respect for the stories of the creations created there, – said Spencer. – I have long spoken about our desire to have a greater presence in Japan. This is a great step in that direction

In a video posted after the conference, Tango Gameworks founder Shinji Mikami said he ” looks forward to the inspiration ” that comes from the Xbox collaboration. He currently serves as the executive producer for Ghostwire: Tokyo. The game will be released on PC and will be a temporary console exclusive for the PlayStation 5, and Microsoft will keep that arrangement.

Phil Spencer previously stated that since the launch of the Xbox Game Pass for PC and consoles in Japan (April 2020), local Xbox gamers are more active than ever before.
