Microsoft Drops Xbox Monthly Online Events 20/20 Program

Microsoft announced in May of this year that it intends to share Xbox news every month through the end of 2020 through the Xbox 20/20 program. But after a not-so-successful show in May, the platform holder missed out on an online broadcast in June. In addition, Microsoft itself has not used the phrase ″ Xbox 20/20 ″ since May. As it turned out, the corporation simply abandoned the original format.

Microsoft updated the original Xbox Wire post on August 7th. The platform owner explained that the Xbox still has an important and rich year ahead, but after re-evaluating the programs for the following months, he decided to stop using the phrase “Xbox 20/20” as it implied that the corporation would publish information in only one way – through a special monthly show …

“We’ve got a lot more news on Xbox Series X, new games like Halo Infinite, and cloud gaming on Xbox Game Pass. We are going to share this news in different ways. Sometimes it can be a special show, YouTube video, partner events, or an article post on Xbox Wire. We want to remain flexible in how we communicate with you, ”added Microsoft.Xbox fans probably wish Microsoft was able to stick to their planned monthly schedule. However, there are about three months left before the next generation starts, and a lot of news is expected during this period: we do not yet know the full list of Xbox Series X starter games, and the Xbox Series S has not yet been presented. In addition, the price of the next-generation consoles has yet to be announced.
