Windows 11 rolls out Moment 3 innovations widely
Microsoft has released a selection of cumulative updates as part of the traditional monthly Patch Tuesday update for the Windows operating system. Updates are available for Windows 10 and the latest Windows 11. It’s heavily focused on improving security, but there are new features as well.
In total, Microsoft fixed 132 vulnerabilities in the update, including six zero-day vulnerabilities that are actively exploited by attackers. Although thirty-seven RCE (Remote code execution) vulnerabilities have been fixed, Microsoft has rated only nine of them as “critical”.

Windows 10 update KB5028166 is available for supported versions 21H2 and 22H2. Basically it fixes the vulnerabilities mentioned above. Microsoft also listed known issues in the update that have not yet been fixed. Among them is the automatic removal of an outdated version of Microsoft Edge without the subsequent automatic installation of a new version.
In Windows 11, the KB5028185 update, in addition to fixing vulnerabilities, brings a number of new features, including new Start menu prompts to sign up for a Microsoft account or complete your account setup. The latest innovation is perceived by many users more like annoying advertising. In File Explorer, you can quickly email a file to yourself or contacts from Outlook. In addition, the OS now supports more dialects for voice access and more languages for live subtitles, and adds new voice commands for text selection and editing.
