Microsoft wants to completely move Windows to the cloud so it can run on any device

Microsoft already has such a product – Windows 365. But such a cloud OS is available only to corporate customers. In the filing for the FTC, which was filed in court as part of the Activision Blizzard purchase case, you can find a paragraph where one of the company’s long-term strategies is the further and increasing transition of Windows 11 to the cloud. Specifically, Microsoft wants to be able to provide cloud-based Windows for any device.

By the way, in the upcoming Windows 11 update, the system will be able to download the cloud version of the OS instead of the local one.

The document also indicates Microsoft’s intention to create custom processors for its Surface PCs. There have been rumors about this just recently.
