Also, AI-based functions will be implemented in Photos, Camera and Scissors
Microsoft is preparing a big update for its famous Paint editor in the Windows 11 operating system. The Windows Central thematic resource, which has proven itself in recent years, spoke about the upcoming innovations.
According to the source, Microsoft will add features based on artificial intelligence to Paint. Including one of the innovations works on the same technology as Bing Image Creator, a tool that creates an image based on a text description.
The internal layout, which fell into the hands of Windows Central, shows us a Magic Paint button and a sidebar that allows us to enter a description of the image. Then this image can be transferred to the canvas and make any changes.

In addition to Paint, the company plans to add AI tools to Photos, the Camera app, and Snipping Tool. For photos, this could include a new feature that allows you to identify people or objects in a photo and then cut and paste them into other areas.
Scissors will get optical character recognition technology to identify text in screenshots and quickly copy it to the clipboard. Microsoft is also working on bringing OCR to the Camera app, which will allow text to be highlighted in a photo taken on the device.
