Microsoft’s built-in antivirus began to detect and block pirated activations of Windows 10 and Windows 11

Update number 1.395.318.0 for Windows 10 and Windows 11 adds detection of various Trojans, ransomware and backdoors, and also brings “critical” performance fixes that will improve PC performance, but not only.

For many users, the most noticeable change will be that Microsoft Defender has learned to detect pirated versions of the OS, reset activation and block the AutoKMS (Key Management Service) service, which hackers and pirates used to activate Windows for free. This is one of the most popular tools for bypassing the Microsoft licensing system.
