In addition to the new graphical settings, update 1.16-pre2 for Minecraft: Java Edition fixes a number of errors, makes a few changes to the creative mode, adds a new type of recipes (blacksmithing) and much more. A detailed list of patch contents can be found here.
To start Minecraft: Java Edition with update 1.16, you need to enable the launcher and go to the “Settings” tab.
