New Leadership at Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas

Effective February 2024, Ahmed Asim has taken the helm as the new General Manager of Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas. This well-deserved promotion recognizes Asim’s impressive career trajectory and proven leadership skills within Minor Hotels.

Asim brings a wealth of hospitality experience to his new role. His journey began in 2005, starting as a butler at the prestigious Soneva Fushi resort in the Maldives. Over the years, he has honed his expertise through various operational roles across the Maldives and Thailand. Most recently, Asim excelled as the Resort Manager at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Hotel, where he successfully oversaw operations for the 376-room resort, encompassing the F&B division with its 10 diverse dining outlets, banquet operations, and unique dining boats.

Asim holds a BTEC National Diploma in Hotel Catering and Institutional Operations from the Maldives College of Higher Education. His dedication to his craft, combined with his passion for personalized guest service, positions him perfectly to lead Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas to even greater heights.

Frederic Kolde Takes the Reins at Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort

As of June 1st, Frederic Kolde officially assumed the role of General Manager at Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort. Kolde brings a distinguished international hospitality background to this position, having previously served as the Hotel Manager at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.

He further bolsters his credentials with a Certificate in Hotel Revenue Management acquired from the esteemed Cornell University.
