Mishustin confirmed the allocation of an additional billion for AI

Another 250 billion rubles will be spent on the formation and updating of data sets in demand in commercial circulation from government systems, as well as the infrastructure for accessing them: “Such data sets can become the basis for machine learning for organizations in key sectors of the economy and contribute to their digital transformation because these organizations need to rely on high-quality and accessible data.”

In addition, it is planned to finance a new wave of research centers in the field of artificial intelligence: “All this creates additional opportunities for launching new promising domestic solutions in such a significant sector, which is especially important in conditions of external pressure and for achieving technological independence.”
