According to protect, the DOOM Eternal horde mode is a series of battles of increasing difficulty in different areas from the story campaign. The mod also has a full ending.

The player starts the first round with a shotgun and two modifications to it, but as he progresses, he gets improvements, pumping points, runes, bonus lives, and other gameplay advantages.

“At some point, the player will become a fully equipped Executioner. At this point, the final round will come, which will test the user’s skills like no other arena in [DOOM Eternal], ” protect assured.

The author of the mod warns that there are no checkpoints on the way to the last battle in the mode: in case of death, the path to the final confrontation will have to start from the very beginning, albeit with already unlocked equipment.

You can download Horde Mode from Nexus Mods. Horde mode replaces the “Glee” level, so you won’t be able to play it with the mod installed. For the same reason, the author asks not to try to load an existing save but to create a new one.

DOOM Eternal is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and will be coming to Nintendo Switch and upcoming consoles. The release of the first story addition to the game – The Ancient Gods, Part One is scheduled for October 20 of this year.
