The PC version of Monster Hunter Rise will have all additional content released up to Switch Version 3.6.1 Patch

Capcom confirmed, last Thursday (26), the contents that will be in Monster Hunter Rise for PC right at its launch, in January 2022. According to the company, the game will have all the updates that came out on Switch until version 3.6 .1 — meaning the monsters, equipment, and additional quests included to date will be accessible in the desktop version.

Monster Hunter Rise Patch 3.6.1 arrived on November 24th, with a collaboration event with Sonic, in celebration of the 30 years of the blue hedgehog. This update, however, won’t be the last until the game debuts on PC. Updates released from now on Switch will only be adapted to the desktop version in late February of next year.

Either way, hunters will have plenty of time to complete all of the game’s additional content. There are plenty of new monsters that need to be defeated, and a unique ending to Kamura Village history to see, as well as several collaboration events with other Capcom games.

Even with identical content, the PC and Switch editions of Monster Hunter Rise won’t support cross-play or cross-save across platforms, unfortunately.

In short, the computer version players will be able to face all the monsters of the base game, besides Teostra, Chameleons, Kushala Daora, Crimson Glow Valstrax, Apex Diablos, Apex Rathalos, and Apex Zinogre.

It will also be possible to see the new campaign ending and get six special armors based on Monster Hunter Stories 2OkamiStreet FighterMega Man 11Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will arrive for Switch and PC

Remember that both the Switch version and the PC edition of Monster-Hunter-Rise will receive the Sunbreak expansion, in the second half of 2022. The DLC should be available at the same time on both platforms and have the same contents, including monsters and equipment.
