27,000 cars produced this year
Moskvich commercial director Alexander Migal said that the plant intends to increase car production to 50 thousand in 2024.
He also said that this year the plant produced approximately 27 thousand cars, of which more than 9.5 thousand units have been sold since March.
Today the company produces three models: the Moskvich 3 crossover, its electric version Moskvich 3e, and the Moskvich 6 sedan, the assembly of which began in September.
Moskvich targets 50,000 cars in 2024: there will be new models
In 2024, the Moskvich plant plans to introduce at least one new model to the Russian market – a D-class crossover called Moskvich 8.
Alexander Migal added that there is a huge difference in quality between vehicle kits and ready-made Moskvich vehicles. At the same time, Moskvich may reduce prices for its cars in the future.
