Production director of the Moskvich automobile plant Oleg Maslyakov confirmed that the company will produce charging stations.
“It has already been decided that charging stations will be produced at the Moskvich plant. In cooperation with the Moscow government, we will produce and supply both the city economy and other regions with charging stations,” he said at the Russian Industrialist forum.
Moskvich will begin producing branded charging stations
Earlier, the commercial director of the plant, Alexander Migal, already said that the plant was exploring the issue of possible production of charging stations for electric vehicles.
Currently, the plant produces the Moskvich 3 crossover and its electric version, Moskvich 3e, as well as the Moskvich 6 sedan. In 2024, the D-class crossover Moskvich 8 and the crossover Moskvich 5 will also be produced.
