2023 Ford F-150 Shelby Centennial Edition Announcement
Shelby American has unveiled its latest creation based on the popular pickup truck called the 2023 Ford F-150 Shelby Centennial Edition, honoring the legacy of the late Carroll Shelby and his passion for off-roading.
Based on the F-150 Lariat 4×4 SuperCrew, the Shelby-branded pickup comes standard with a 400-hp 5.0-liter V8 under the hood. There’s also an optional supercharger that boosts power to an impressive 800bhp.
But that’s not all, because the Shelby Centennial Edition F-150 features Raptor-style Fox shocks that can be tuned for extreme off-road comfort or handling. The car also has a redesigned interior with two-tone leather upholstery, Shelby floor mats, tinted windows and an official serial number.

The brakes have been upgraded for improved stopping power, and standard equipment includes 22-inch alloy wheels with BFG KO2 all-terrain tires, a Ram Air hood with vents, power side steps, and a Shelby front grille.
“Many considered Carroll Shelby the ‘most interesting man in the world’ while he was alive, and we’re highlighting the many intriguing facets of the legend during our 2023 centenary celebrations,” said Gary Patterson, president of Shelby American. Carroll liked to ride both on and off the road, especially on rough terrain. He traveled through the desert in both two- and four-wheeled vehicles. His ranch in Terlingua, Texas even owned the first production Ford Bronco. We honor this legacy of Shelby by creating a special off-road vehicle that is reminiscent of his adventures.”
Only 100 units of the 2023 Ford F-150 Carroll Shelby Centennial Edition will be produced, with a starting price of $129,450.
