Motorola is preparing to release four new smartphones of the flagship Edge series
The Motorola Edge family will expand soon. The series debuted last year with the flagship Edge and Edge Plus launch and was complemented by the China-exclusive Edge S smartphone earlier this year. Now there is information about four more new models.
Authoritative analyst Evan Blass has revealed that Motorola is developing three new Edge smartphones. They were codenamed Sierra, Berlin, and Berlin NA. Techniknews also announced the existence of Moto Edge Kyoto. According to unconfirmed reports, the latter will receive a 108-megapixel S5KHM2 main camera sensor, which Samsung will supply. It will be complemented by an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 sensor and a 2MP OmniVision OV02B1B sensor. The front camera will be represented by a 16- or 32-megapixel OmniVision sensor.
Kyoto is the most affordable of all Edge devices, while Berlin and Sierra will be the successors of the flagship Moto Edge and Edge Plus, respectively. More details on these devices are expected to be available shortly.
