There is a 144-Hz screen and a large battery
In addition to the flagship clamshell Moto Razr 40 Ultra , which starts at just $800 in China, Motorola also introduced the base model Moto Razr 40, which is the cheapest foldable smartphone on the market.
Moto Razr 40 is asking for only $560! This is half the price of many folding devices from other brands, and in general, there is simply nothing even close in price on the market.
At the same time, it cannot be said that the buyer should make any significant compromises because of such a price. In fact, the only compromise here is the platform – Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. This is a mid-budget solution that scores about 550,000 points in AnTuTu 9. Most of the current generation of foldable smartphones are based on much more powerful platforms.

At the same time, the new Motorola offers 8 GB or 12 RAM, 128 or 256 GB of flash memory, a 64-megapixel main camera with optical stabilization, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 32-megapixel front camera.
The main display is characterized by a diagonal of 6.9 inches with a resolution of Full HD + and boasts a frame rate of 144 Hz. The external display here is small, its diagonal is 1.5 inches with a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels, but it consumes less power, and you can still use it as a viewfinder.
Moreover, the model is equipped with a 4200 mAh battery, which is one of the best indicators in the class. The charging power here is limited to 30 watts, but there is wireless charging, albeit with a power of only 5 watts. From the rest, it is possible to note protection against moisture and dust (IP52), a frame made of 7000 series aluminum and a thickness of 7.35 mm with a weight of 188 g.
On sale such a smartphone will appear on June 25.
