Intel Extreme Upgrade category renamed to Ultimate Tech Upgrade
Intel has terminated cooperation with one of the largest YouTube channels dedicated to computer technology.
For about two years, Intel has been a sponsor of the special Intel Extreme Upgrade feature on the Linus Tech Tips (LTT) channel. Under this heading, a channel team member was given $5,000 to buy a new PC. Of course, on Intel components.
LTT released 24 of these videos, which received a total of 87 million views. And now Intel has refused to continue cooperation. For what reasons is unknown. However, we are still talking about a very popular channel, so AMD quickly picked up the initiative.
The rubric will be renamed Ultimate Tech Upgrade and will continue to be published in approximately the same format, but now sponsored by AMD with the corresponding consequences.
