Motorola showed a remote wireless charging station – up to seven devices at a distance of up to 1 meter

As we said today, the Chinese Xiaomi has developed the Air Charge wireless charging system, which allows you to charge multiple devices at the same time at a distance of up to several meters. Now Motorola has announced a similar decision.

The system was named Motorola One Hyper. It is based on the Qi technology, which is based on the magnetic induction method. At the same time, Motorola specialists have significantly improved this method.

In particular, Motorola One Hyper allows you to recharge up to seven devices, which can be up to one meter from the charging station. Power indicators, unfortunately, have not yet been disclosed.

In the released video (see below), it can be seen that the process of energy transfer is interrupted if an object is between the source and the consumer – in this case, a hand.

It is not yet clear when the new system could be commercialized. Apparently, while Motorola continues to work on the demonstrated solution.
