Mythical creatures instead of Ragnar Lothbrok: new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
When Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was announced, many began to wonder what kind of legendary personalities we would meet this time. One of the most popular among them is the Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, who lived in the 9th century. However, we will not see the warrior, since he was thrown into the pit with snakes a couple of years before the events of the game.
At Future Games Show: Gamescom 2020, Ubisoft unveiled a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. In it, the narrative director of the game, Darby McDevitt, revealed that Alvor will be able to go in search of six of Ragnar’s warriors. In addition, Ubisoft showed a battle with a huge dog, which is the embodiment of the devil, as well as the three daughters of King Legion (a tribute to Shakespeare’s play “King Lear”).
In the same place, Derby McDevitt said that the developers paid a lot of attention to rewarding people who want to get out of the story path and go in search of side content. According to him, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has a lot of interesting stories related to British and Nordic folklore that you won’t see if you only go through the main tasks.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 17. The game will also go on sale on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
