Nancy Pelosi calls coronavirus “greatest disaster” in US history

“More than 80 thousand Americans died, about 1.4 million became infected. Thirty-three million Americans applied for unemployment benefits. We all know these numbers. We are facing the greatest disaster in the history of our country,  
Pelosi said in a statement to her Facebook page.

According to her, from the beginning of the pandemic, coronavirus in the country was found in about 1.4 million people, and more than 80 thousand Americans died. Another 30 million citizens applied for unemployment benefits.

“We all know these numbers. We are faced with the greatest disaster in the history of our country, ”added Pelosi.

She also commented on the proposed $ 3 trillion aid package proposed by the Democrats. According to her, the package includes four bills on supporting the economy. She criticized the Republicans who expressed their displeasure over the allocation of large sums to fight the coronavirus and reminded them that all Americans want to eat and pay rent, so action must be taken.

“Inaction is the path that will cost the most,” Pelosi warned.
