However, the police declined to provide a remand report, asserting that Chandrababu’s arrest was based on allegations related to the scam.

In response to the lawyers’ inquiries about the inclusion of Chandrababu’s name in the FIR, the police assured that they would furnish the necessary documents post-arrest. They emphasized that they adhered to the guidelines established in the DK Basu case and promised to provide documents explaining the reasons behind Chandrababu’s detention within 24 hours.

The attempt to arrest Chandrababu was met with heightened tension as thousands of TDP supporters congregated near the RK function hall in Nandyala, where he had been residing.
