These enterprise-class drives are U.2 size
Netlist recently announced the availability and shipping of the N1962 solid-state drives. These are enterprise-class drives equipped with a PCIe Gen4 x4 interface and made in the U.2 (2.5 inches) frame size.

In the description of the drives, the manufacturer notes “best-in-class firmware and a wide range of corporate functions.” The Netlist N1962 benefits from high performance and reliability, and its applications include the “toughest workloads,” including artificial intelligence, financial transactions, content delivery, and database acceleration.
The sequential read speed reaches 7 GB / s, and the performance on reading operations with random access – 1.6 million IOPS. In write mode, the values of these indicators reach 6.5 GB / s and 245,000 IOPS, respectively.
The drives are offered in volumes from 3.2 TB to 15.36 TB. The resource is configurable (at the cost of reducing the available volume) and can reach 9 full rewrites per day. Parameters such as performance and power consumption are also configurable, meaning one can be sacrificed to win another. The prices are reported by the manufacturer upon request. The drives are backed by a five-year warranty.
