Made in Taiwan
Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taiwan has developed an unusual aquarium with an artificial intelligence system. This system is designed to inform users. She can track the direction of her gaze and display data on a transparent MicroLED screen.
For this, a 3D camera is used, which determines what the user is looking at. Another camera monitors the fish and transmits the video stream for analysis in real time. The algorithm tracks and recognizes the fish. All this allows you to determine what kind of fish the user is interested in.
After that, the data is displayed on the screen, and so that the text is placed next to the fish that the visitor is looking at. For more information, you can use gesture control.
The aquarium itself is installed in Taiwan’s National Museum of Marine Science and Technology. It is noted that such technology will certainly find application at exhibitions, museums or shopping centers.
