New DiRT 5 trailer showcases point-to-point racing

In preparation for the launch of DiRT 5, the developers at Codemasters have released a fresh trailer with gameplay in an effort to whet the interest of racing fans. This time, the video sends viewers to China and shows one run on a dirt track in point-to-point mode.

These races are usually more difficult to win than circuit races, as the player is constantly faced with new turns and obstacles until the finish line. But such tracks are more varied and do not get bored with repetitive surroundings.

One such track in DiRT 5 is located in China and features an impressive environmental design. The track will be accessible as part of the Rally Raid mode in rally cars, but players can also race along with it in other cars such as trucks or buggies.

In DiRT 5, the creators aim to provide players with the very best of the entire series, providing a wide variety of modes, events, and vehicle classes. Users will be able to access a new storyline career mode, which will be dubbed in English by Troy Baker and Nolan North.

As a reminder, DIRT 5 is slightly delayed and is now slated for release on November 6, 2020, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The launch on Xbox Series X and S will take place on November 10; on PlayStation 5 on November 12, with a version for Google Stadia arriving in early 2021. Those who purchase the Amplified Edition will receive exclusive content and access to the game three days before the official launch. Racing supports free updates for next-gen consoles from the Xbox One and PS4 editions.
