New Honda Civic will be able to wirelessly connect to Android Auto

The base model Civic 2022 features a 7-inch touchscreen, while the media system is compatible with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. To get wireless support, you need a more expensive version with a 9-inch media system. The exact price of the upgrade to Android Auto wireless is still unknown.

Wireless Android Auto is still quite rare in new cars, without the need to purchase a separate media system. For example, Honda currently only offers this option in the new Accord.

In the US, sales of the 2022 Honda Civic are due to begin this summer.
