New iPhones won’t ship in September – Apple will delay their release for several weeks

The Verge writes about this with reference to the company’s CFO Luca Maestri. The exact dates have not yet been announced, but a delay of several weeks is expected.
Maestri did not disclose the reasons for the delay in the release of new models, but rumors about this have appeared several times over the course of several months. First, it said The Wall Street Journal, noting that the issue is delayed by about a month. This was later hinted at by Qualcomm CFO Akash Palkhiwala.
This is not the first time a new iPhone has been delayed. In 2017, the company announced the iPhone X alongside the iPhone 8, but due to manufacturing issues, its release was delayed until November. A similar situation arose with the iPhone XR, which was announced in September 2018 but did not hit the shelves until October.
