Shipments to salons are expected in May
Updated: AvtoVAZ confirmed that sales will start in May .
Unfortunately, the new Lada Vesta NG cars assembled in Togliatti will not go on sale in May, as previously planned.
Following the results of the dealer conference, which took place in Sochi on April 12, Lada sellers expressed their hope in an interview with Vedomosti that Lada Vesta NG will go on sale in June this year.
New Lada Vesta NG Delayed: Dealers Hope to Start Sales in June [Updated]
One of the dealers said that the first shipments of the new Lada Vesta to dealers are scheduled for May. The Russian Automobile Dealers Association (RoAD) noted that sales usually start within a month after the cars are in showrooms.
Recall that the serial production of the new Lada Vesta NG began in Togliatti on March 3. The car is available in sedan, station wagon SW and cross wagon SW Cross. They are equipped only with an eight-valve 90-horsepower VAZ-11182 engine. In May, they plan to return a more powerful 16-valve engine.
Options and prices are still unknown.
