Cards are sold in the subway and land transport
According to Izvestia, citing representatives of the Gorod company and the Tele2 operator, sales of SIM cards of the new virtual operator (MVNO) GorodMobile have begun in the Moscow metro and land transport.
Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport Maxim Liksutov confirmed that the development of services for passengers continues on behalf of the mayor.
On behalf of the Mayor of Moscow, we continue to launch convenient services for passengers. Together with partners, we are expanding the possibilities of the City loyalty program, which involves more than 2 million users. Passengers will now be able to purchase Troika complete with a SIM card at the Live Communication counters in the metro. I think that this option will be especially appreciated by tourists and guests of the capital.
New mobile operator GorodMobile launched in Moscow
Communication can be paid not only with money, but also with bonus points that users of the Gorod mobile application accumulate by paying for trips and purchasing goods from partner companies. In the online store of the Moscow Metro, a starter kit of Troika and a SIM card costs 120 rubles.
As reported, investments in the launch of the project could range from 10 to 15 million rubles.
