The last time changes were made in 2008
Porsche has unveiled the latest version of its iconic Crest badge. The historic badge remains easily recognizable. To notice the changes, you need to look closely.
The bronze part is now completely smoothed out. This allows the Porsche name to stand out better. An ornament in the form of honeycombs appeared on the red part of the coat of arms. In the center is the name of the city of Stuttgart.
New Porsche logo unveiled
The brand is celebrating 75 years of Porsche sports cars. The company has used several versions of the logo on its vehicles since it was first introduced in 1952. The trademark logo has been updated five times, with the last time in 2008.
It depicts a coat of arms with black and red stripes and deer antlers – these are elements of the coat of arms of the German state of Württemberg, whose capital was the city of Stuttgart. It also depicts a horse, because Stuttgart was founded in 950 as a horse farm.
According to Porsche, the updated logo will start appearing on cars at the end of 2023.
